    Guidelines for Consignment Artists

  • The Arts in Common (AIC) Gallery is a family-friendly gallery and classroom setting.  All artists and artworks are subject to the selection and approval by the Gallery Managing Committee of the Sevierville Commons Arts Council.  We reserve the right to not accept works that include profanity, nudity, or sexuality. 
  • Consignment work is based on space available. The term for consignment depends on whether the work is selling over a minimum of six months. The AIC Managing Committee reserves the right to remove any artist for any reason, including but not limited to, lack of sales, to make room for new work.
  • The Artist agrees to provide replacement work for any artwork sold during the consignment term.  If they do not supply approved, replacement artwork the AIC Managing Committee reserves the right to fill the space with another artist’s artwork.
  • The Artist agrees to the geographical restrictions/if any as stated in the Consignment Artist Contract. 
  • Arts in Common Gallery will collect all funds from sales, including the collection, handling, and reporting of sales tax with said funds.
  • Arts in Common Gallery is responsible for the printing and display of the Artist’s information and artwork description.  No artworks will be displayed for sale without an Artist’s biography and descriptions of the artwork.
  • If your artwork is chosen for consignment at Arts in Common Gallery, the current consignment terms and percentages for commission will be specified in the Consignment Artist Contract. You will be provided a Consignment Artist Contract if you are approved for the Gallery. No artwork will be accept without a completed Application and Consignment Artist Contract on file.
  • These Guidelines are attachments of the Consignment Artists Application and they are subject to change without notice.
  • Because we are interested in encouraging young artists, we will consider applications for individuals younger than 18 on a case by case basis with parental consent waiver submitted.

CONSIGNMENT ARTIST Application for Arts in Common Gallery


We are proud to introduce you to the new Arts in Common Gallery at 129 Bruce Street in the heart of downtown Sevierville, Tennessee.  


We are currently seeking artists of handmade arts & crafts to participate in our consignment gallery.  Please review the Application and Guidelines below.  We do not have a set date to jury the consignment applications, as our jury process is on-going. 

​You will be contacted via email when a determination has been made regarding your application.


  • Consignment Artist Applications will be juried by the Sevierville Commons Arts Council's Gallery Managing Committee.
  • $10 Application Fee is considered a donation to the Sevierville Commons Arts Council.

ALL FIELDS WITH A RED ASTERISK MUST BE COMPLETED FOR THE FORM TO SUCCESSFULLY SUBMIT.   The 5 images you submit should be under 10MB.  Please send a separate email to commonsartscouncil@gmail.com to confirm application and payment have been received.   A paper application is also acceptable.  See contacts listed below for any questions. Please provide 5 examples of your work in digital format above.  If you are unable to provide in digital format, please mail to Sevierville Commons Arts Council, ATTN:  Jill & Crystal, 129 Bruce Street, Sevierville, TN  37862 or drop off at Arts in Common Gallery after opening.  Links may also be emailed to andreas-studio@comcast.net  In order for the application to submit correctly, at least one image must be sent in the above block, since this is a required field.  Thank you.

-The Arts in Common Managing Committee will jury new artwork periodically.  After your completed application is reviewed, you may be asked to bring in samples for your work for review.

- Files must be JPEG with a Resolution of 300 dpi.
- If your artwork is selected, you will receive a Contract to be signed and returned. 

- Your images may be used for promotional purposes by the Arts in Common Gallery and/or Sevierville Commons Arts Council.
